As you move up the Valley, you come to Courchevel 1550. The village is directly below 1850 on the slopes and therefore offers very quick access to the main Courchevel ski area and the 3 Valleys. 1550 is recommended a great stay for families. It retains its traditional feel and offers fantastic family chalets, many of which are luxury offering more competative prices than in 1850. Apartments in 1550 are very popular; however, there are also a few hotels.
Courchevel 1550 provides a number of Restaurants and bars that you can endow with a memorable après ski.
The service bus will run through 1550, alternatively you can take the Tovets lift, which installed new 6 seated gondolas in 2004/5 which takes you up to la Croisette in 1850 in a matter of minutes.
