During May-July and September -November we continue our teaching programme at a dry slope in Scotland, part of a wonderfully active and sporty school for children up to 13 yrs, Craigclowan Preparatory School in Perth. It boasts its own private dry ski slope with uplift and floodlights.
There we have two sessions per week with the race trainees from Craigclowan School who are working on their technique preparing for dry slope and snow races.
On Fridays and Saturdays during the Spring and Autumn terms we work with people from the school but also many from all over the Perthshire area and beyond. We have had people from as far away as Kilmarnock and Montrose. We are open to all ages and abilities.
Our most popular classes we teach are our Tweenies from pre-school, age 3 and 4yrs, this has been a roaring sucess and we have seen tinies develop right up to our race training level !
The time to book is June for enrolling into our September block and October for enrolling into the Spring block. I require and e-mail of interest, if I have spaces I will send a booking form which you then send back to me with your cheque and then your place is booked.
The Summer fun Camp is held annually at the dry slope for one week. This is normally the second week of July and the first week of the school holidays. We pride ourselves with the feedback from the past camps which are great fun and geared around teaching through individual games and team games.It is open to all who can ski and use the tow, we have children as young as 4 yrs right up to 12 or 13 yrs. Places are limited so apply early as we only have 20 in our morning session and 20 in the afternoon. The week ends with a BBQ and an annual water fight!!!
On top of all that we are now taking children abroad to Tignes in France to ski on the Glacier during the Summer for the last two weeks of July. Bastien is organising these courses which entails two coaches and up to 10 children. This is open for children over 8yrs and must ski to a good level before applying. The mornings are working on race techniques on the Glacier and the afternoons are organised sporting activities (enormous fun).

Congratulations to the whole team especially Hope Whitelaw who led the girls team into 2nd place at the Scottish Schools dry slope ski championships on the 28th October 2007. Hope also came 2nd girl in the individuals. Our boys team came 8th out of 14 teams.

Minors Ski Championships October 29th 2006. The team
finished 3rd with Hope winning the Gold individual place.
