La
Tania, the last ski area in the 3 Valleys to be created.
Work began in 1989 to prepare for the Winter Olympic
Games held in Albertville in 1992.
The idea at the start was intended to offer skiers more
accommodation and to welcome the spectators to watch
the diverse action unwinding in the area, and for the
press to write about the Olympic teams.
A
magnificent forest of trees surround it , which is convivial
of the life there, with the centre of the village without
cars and all the pistes arriving directly to the chalets
in the resorts.
It
has a distinguished reputation for welcoming children
and their safety.
The
little traditional resort is conserved neatly for its
residence and like Courchevel and Meribel it relies
on the other resorts to make up the 3 Valleys, the largest
ski area in the World with 200 lifts, 330 pistes and
over 600 km of ski runs.
