A beautiful day hike Wednesday, August 12 in the nature reserve of “La Grande Sassière” towards the “Glacier Rhêmes Golette”.

An easy and family hike that takes you to an atmosphere of High Mountains, lakes and glaciers.

Description of the route:

Departure from the “barrage du saut” climbing towards the “Lac de la Sassière” and its dam.
Cross the dam and climb towards “Col de Rhêmes Golette” and the “Pointe de la Traversière”.
It leads to a glacial lake (2924 m) and has one foot on the Glacier Rhêmes-Golette.
(From the glacier front, it is highly recommended to be equipped to climb to the col.)
