“Haute Tarentaise” Excursion above “Sainte Foy”, last week, Monday, May 16 for a stunning ski tour to the “Col de Montséti” and the Summit Louprama from “La Savonne”.

The Valley of the Sassière offers a sumptuous setting, with many relics of a time past: the ruins of the hamlet Sassière and the hamlet of Mollettes and “La Chapelle Saint Pierre aux Liens”. It’s very pretty with lots of course stone and slate.

Going up the valley, the view is breathtaking to the high peaks: Pointe du Tackuy (2858m), Grand Assaly (3173m), Petit Assaly (3147m), Becca du Lac (3405m) and Bec de l’Ane (3213m).
Because of its orientation and altitude, this valley offers 5 hiking routes that are passable until June!
